I look forward to getting up every morning at 4 am for the day b/c the first thing i am greeted with is a grin of gums from ear to ear. I love it:)

My son is a miracle baby. When he was born, my doctor was so amazed that he was alive and doing well. He only missed one point on his first apgar test, even though he had the cord wrapped around his neck twice, and it had two knots tied in it. My doctor has been delivering babies for 20 years and said that was the first time he had ever seen anything like it. He actually took my baby's cord and showed it to the other doctor at the hospital then, and any nurses he ran into along the way!

Yes, I got a little surprise from god too. After my first child I was only going to have her. I had been on the pill for seven years. I went to the doctors because I had a weird/strange headache and came out knowing I was pregnant. What a shock. It was the furthest thing from my mind. Now I have a gergeous baby boy. He is a miracle because it was totally unexpected and he is an angel.

So I am so happy you get to have the joy of raising your gift from God. We are truly blessed. I also have a miracle baby. When she was born the midwife told me I was very lucky to even have her, I should have lost her by the third month of pregnancy. She was born almost 6 weeks early, her blood sugars were under 20 and it took over a week to stablize her. Then for some reason while in the NICU she couldn't/wouldn't eat. They have run every test they can think of on her and can find nothing medically wrong. So at 6 weks of age they put in a g-tube (feeding tube in her stomach) and we got to go home when she was 7 weeks old. (That was the longest 7 weeks of my life) She is now a little over 2, she still is fed (and no medical diagnosis) by tube but we are learning to feed orally. We see a therapist twice a week to work on eating. Actually we are getting ready to walk out the door right now for our second one this week. So far we are up to almost 2 1/2 ounces of baby food taken by mouth once a day. We have a long road ahead of us but we will get there. I thank God everyday for my miracle baby!

My daughter is a miracle baby for another reason. When she was born she had a heart defect and a condition called sacral agensis. They didn't think that she would make it a year. They couldn't do surgery until she weighed atleast ten pounds. It took six months to get her up to that weight. That was one of the scariest days f my life when they took her out of my arms to perform open heart surgery. She has been through a lot for just being eight an half years old.

I think every baby is a miracle. Giving birth and bringing a precious little life into the world is the best thing that could ever happen to anyone!
