Series Finale OHH NOOO!!!

Ok so I heard the news too... but here is the question I have... why did we not hear about this earlier... I can see what they are going to do tho... they will make it just like they did the OC when that ended. They will just do quick shots and flash to the way thier lives end up. L and L will end up together... and Rory will end up a big shot. But we will see :) sad but I guess it is their time.

I doubt they'd extend it. I love the show, but am ok with it going. Since Amy and Daniel left, it just hasn't been exactly the same...yeah they announced that week that may 15 would be the finale so I was prepared to have only a few weeks. I only hope that they wrote the finale as a possible series finale(seeing as there has been talk all season that this might be the last) and not as a cliffhanger hoping they would get another year.

I too have heard that the series is ending, but at the same time I don't understand how. First of all I don't know how they are going to tie up all the lose ends in one hour. Second I don't understand how it's the end of the series, when I could have sworn that I seen a comercial not too long ago, that said the last season of gilmore girls starts this fall. Although I could have thought thats what I heard. The only way that they could make this series finale work if they did it they way like Dawsons creek did, in which it took us into a future of it, but again I cannot see how that would work unless it was at least 2 hours long. There are still alot of things in it needing to be covered. Although they may in the end extend it but maybe not I just hope everything is answered when it does end next episode

I am also really dissappointed that we didn't get to see luke and loreli together with kids. I think they could be really happy together if they would just realize it now the show is ending and its too late!

I'm really sad to see it go but it has been going for a while. I can still remember the first episode Rory's 16th brithday party. I hope they do a really good show on Tuesday. They should of made it a 2 hour show at least.

IMO, this has to be the stupidest stunt in TV history! I rarely enjoy anything on TV these days, I mostly watch older stuff. But, they just dropped this bombshell out of the clear blue last week! I mean, did any of you know anything about this until last week?! It was the first I'd heard anything about it. WAY too many unanswered questions and WAY too many potential story plots left with the Gilmores and the citizens of Stars Hollow. What the heck are the TV execs thinking?!?!?! This is a major mistake and I think all GG's fans ought to ban together and protest, and flood the CW with tons of petitions. GG's has been one of thier biggest anchor shows, it has carried them to the big time, and I cannot see any possible sense out of canceling this GEM of a show! SO THERE! Grrrrrrr, I'm furious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the show too. I really want to see luke and lorelais life together.
