My Encore Azalea stop blooming a couple of weeks ago, and I was wondering if this is a good time to prune them. What type of fertilizer should I use? I have them now for a couple years, but have never trim or fertilize them.

Yes, if you're going to trim them, do it right after they quite blooming. If you wait too long you will be cutting off the buds for next year's flowers. Azaleas are one of the plants that sets flower buds a long time before the next bloom season. They like acid soil, so what you fertilize them with depends on the kind of soil you have.
