Although there are legitimate mystery/secret shopping jobs, there currently is a huge mystery/secret shopping jobs scam. A Canadian company calling itself Shopping Jobs Here Agency is issuing identical "official check" (from Citizens BAnk of Washington County, Sanderville, GA) to several individuals allover the USA. I also received the "official check" with jubilation; but fortunately for me, the check (made in the amount of $4982.00) had my last name misspelled, resulting in check kickback by my bank. See copy of my identical check at legit Citizens Bank of Washington County site - http://www.cbwc.com/scam_notice2.htm Oh, the check arrived with materials and instructions stating job preformance and requirements, making the deal appear legit. I even spoke with representatives of the company, who all sounded very professional and even advised that I wait for "official check" to be cleared before calling back for confirmed job assignments. Well, I guess when it is too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true! Because this company is outside the USA, Citizens Bank of Washington County, Sanderville, GA, cannot do a thing! US victims will be simply out-of-luck. Beware! And, do not forget to help take a bite out of crime!

Yes. Alot of them truly are a scam. Mystery shopping sites invite us through emails and not through our regular postal mail service. Beware of the ones that come to your home address especially.

Yikes! I have always wondered about those so-called mystery shopper jobs online. Many of them sound too good to be true. Thanks for letting me know!
