Only in Japan

In a brilliant marketing case that was born in Japan, the Japanese has come up with the brilliant idea of dispensing free drinks to thirsty consumers willing to watch a 30sec ad before partaking. Sounds cool! When is it coming over to the rest of the world? Are you going to be the entrepreneur to do so?

I was re-reading thru this posting and am thinking, there are some vending machines in singapore that allows you to SMS the vending machine to get drinks, and the charges will be billed to the handphone bill rite? Do you have any idea how much does it cost to set up such vending machines? What do we have to do to tie down with the various telcos to get this to work? I suddenly have a crazy idea... heh heh...
