I just read that Paris Hilton might not serve the full 45 days that she was sentenced to. She may just stay in jail for 21 to 23 days. The reason given was overcrowding in prison. This is just ridiculous in my opinion. Why is she the one to be given favor because of that reason? It is certainly because her family is wealthy and influential. Why won't they let an ordinary woman off the hook? There is definitely something fishy. Paris may even get away with murder.

she broke the law she deserves to go to jail. She blatantly broke the law and I can't understand why she is going to the media and saying that she was treated unfairly. She's crazy and selfish and living in another world from the rest of us.

This country is supposed to everyone is equal. If you are quiet and respectful in court, you may get a reduced sentance, and you may even get probation. But when you blame others for you not knowing and complain and yell, you get more (ignorance of the law is no defense). It is time for the rich to realize that the laws are there for them to follow, and not just for them to use to keep the little man down. Send her mom in for 15 days for contempt of court too. Let her know that she is subject to the laws.
