"I Love U".... why is it so hard to say the words 2 the one u love?

I think it is the selfish motive behind this difficulty. Well, if you love someone really and are not just flirting you can judge the persons reactions to your talks and thoughts. But again the fear of rejecting will be haunting in both the minds. This is the major reason for not being able to say just those three words. If you love someone really you will see towards that they are happy and even if they reject you, you will always be a well-wisher. As a quote goes- "The person who loves will talk everything other than love and the one who flirts will talk only about love."

it's really hard to say that especially when it's sincere and you really mean it..for me...i find it easy to just say it infront of my friends..gals and guys..but for my guy bestfriend...i cant

How strange. I find them very easy to say and have said them many thousands of times over 37 years of marriage, especially now that I have three people to say them to! Is someone shy?

ya i agree with you dat saying dis 3 words are realy difficult..........According to me its really hard to say "I Love U" coz v have a fear of rejection.....n v aslo have a fear of losing dat person whom ll love.......sumtime v think if v show our feeling v may lose dat person n fear of losing dat person makes us feel fear...but dis is the stage where v lack coz if v ll not sohw our feeling how can front person understand us wat excatly v feel for them n sum time v lose dat person by just not expressing our feeling

It is not hard to say the words "I love you". The fact is that, LOVE is not selfish. It is natural. It does not need to be said but to be used in action. If you love someone, you don't tell the person that but you show it by action. Love is not lust. If you say you love someone bcos the person is beautiful, that is selfishness. It is lust and not love. So, rethink about the love you are talking about.

It's easy, the key is your heart. Just look at her eyes smoothly and straightly say that you love her. Tell her so much you care about her and how precious her in you life. How she can influence your day, how she can cheers up you life, and how she can complete you. But don't force her is she don't want to hear. Just do the best for her. That's from me. Good Luck!

I think it's hard to say the words for the first time because you have this fear of rejection inside. You wonder what if they don't really love me back or something. After it's said it's easy to always say it.

Hey i know its very hard to say it because we are scared what if the person we love the most says no to us.. Thats why we hesitate with the fear of rejection..

I used to think only people from Asian countries have this kind of thing---feel awkward or embarrassed to say these three words to people you love. But recently I was told by an American young man who is now in love with his girlfriend that he has never said "I love you " to his GF for the same reason---to be too shy to say that. It's a little to my surprise.

because your scared of what the other persons answer. we try to say we love the person if we know they love us back... its really hard if its true... we want them to love us back in return or if they dont watch from far away and make sure they're safe...

the first time its hard to say cause we worry dont be corresponded , if the lover dont love u but after the first time, if the people correspond, become easy, and very good if u dont love a people, its easy to say, but not trustly, cause u dont worry if the people dont correspond

dont think so..when you love someone, it is very easy to say i love you..

No it is not hard to say it.. whats hard is to make believe that you love that person.
