Did you know that 1 in 4 computer uses have physically attacked their machines? I just read that in my AARP magazine! It was a British study. I know I can relate to that feeling! Have you ever gotten so mad at your computer you wanted to attack it? Did you?

Well I've never been driven to the point of wanting to attack my computer..I've waited too long to get one, and it was a tad expensive...BUT..oh, I can be quite verbal---LOL--when I used to go to an internet place before I got my computer there were always a bunch of us "regulars" there...I think it was my second home...anyway one day one of the regulars is sitting next to me...Things just weren't going right for me that day on the computer so I expressed myself in my usual polite ladylike manner..heheh..NOT...the guy next to me says, "Let me know when the computer talks back to you"--I thought that was so funny..Hey good thing computers can't talk back to us..at least not with the language I use toward it...

My husband is not a good typist so we got one of those programs that types as you dictate. The only trouble is, you have to spend a lot of time to "train" the program to your pronounciation. My husband is not a patient man and the program did not understand his New England accent. After about an hour of unsucessful "training", he uttered a long string of curse words--all of which typed perfectly across the screen!

Used to. I was so pis* off when my PC keep rebooting itself. But nowadays whenever my computer screwed up or something like that, I just remind myself that I would be in big trouble if I try to "hurt" my PC. My life depends on it :)

I have wanted to attack my computer on multiple occasions. Computers when they are going well are wonderful things. When they are not doing what you want they can be extremly infuriating. I am yet to physically throw my computer out the window but I have felt like it at times.

That's what scares me about having a laptop. They are so much easier to throw. Thanks for replying.
