Discussions without responses.

Sometimes I post discussions which I would really like replies too. Unfortunately, no one seem to pay them any attention. It puzzles me why some discussions are simply ignore and other seemly less interesting discussions that I post are overwhelmingly responded too. Is it just me or something?

It could also be a matter of when you post them. It could just be that nobodies looking at that time and they pass unnoticed.

That could be a factor. I live in GMT +8 timezone, when I'm up and about, most Americans would be sleep =/

There are literally thousands of discussions out there per day. It is no surprise that some discussions would only make it to the front page of new discussion for a few seconds and then got kicked out of the way by newer ones. Do not despair. this is normal. Hey, guess what? I am replying to your discussion now!

lol! Thank you shakeroo, that really made my day :) It's true, perhaps some discussions are just up too little.

Usually people are responding to any discussion they feel like they can say something that makes sense...not just respond....I was watching your discussions and to be honest with you...for many I didn't have the right respond... Maybe some of your discussions are to narrow...or maybe the respond can sound snobby or offensive... For some reason it stops me from responding... In the other hand...I have the same problem...the better discussion the less responds I am getting...

That's true, thanks polachicago :) I guess some of my topics are just too narrow. I'll work on broadening my discussions :)

You are not alone. The other day I was trying resolve my discussions and saw that I have quite a few that have no responses. And like you some of them I was really looking foward to what people would say. I sometimes wonder if maybe I just posted them under the wrong interest group. Good luck!!!

Sometimes I wonder that myself. Some topics are just a little in between interests...

Our discussion is not always interest by other. we must realize that if no response mean the discussion is less interesting. maybe some time we have to make more interesting discussion such as the discuss that talking about usefull living, about good relation, or about fact living.

I'm there with you. Quite a few of mine have gotten little or no response...and I don't post that many. Now, I rarely post a question and just usually answer what other people post. Sometimes it really surprises me what will attract attention. For example, someone asked about when you get your hair cut: do you talk to the person cutting your hair or keep quiet. It had something like 7 or 8 pages of responses. Who knew this was such a hot topic? Mostly I just focus on the areas that I am interested in (writing), so if there are only a few responses to something, it is still usually interesting for me.

That's good advice AnythngArt. It's more important that we have fun here isn't it? :)
