What do you think is the world's number one problem?

What is the worst thing about this life? What is the biggest thing wrong with this world and with our society? I think it's a lack of Love, and a lack of society-wide goals. You see, I start with two premises. 1)Love, true Love, is the ultimate cure for all that ails us, and is the only preventative measure of all tragedy and 2)that human civilization as we know it was started as a means for our primitive ancestors to protect themselves from and defeat enemies. Now that we are rapidly becoming a global society, we are frustrated and destroying ourselves--without a new direction or purpose to go forward with.
