I HATE the beta version with a passion ... they've only made it to try and compete with gmail. They should make it more clear that dial up machines can't handle using it [even though you can use gmail fine on dial up] and i've even heard of a lot of broadband users struggling with it. The pages don't load, you just ending up sitting in the same place in cyberspace forever ... and it can be painful to try and get back to using the "original" version. I've been using a yahoo mail account as my main email for 10 years now and i've never ever had a problem with using the original format - i've had problems using beta though. Simple is best ...

I don't understand why the comments regarding dial-up. I have it with ADSL and I have no problems whatsoever.

adsl is broadband ... have you ever used beta mail with dial up?? dial up just can't handle the amount of information trying to be processed. I believe it can take up to 5 minutes just for the page to load and normally the page will freeze before it gets that far.

Oh, it's alright, there is some stuff you can't do on there, that you can do on the original, and also, you have to have an newer updated computer, for the program to work properly! But, it is different and fresh!

The new "Beta" E-Mail is better in functionalities and featuers. Th only problem with the beta is that its very very very slow. i have already tried the Beta but i rolled it back to the old version.
