Are you a courteous driver?

I would like to think I am courteous. I do however get ticked off by others frequently. The ones that pull out in front of you then go 15 mph or the ones that ride your behind only to pass you and get to the red light first. What's the deal with that? lol Hurry up and wait..hehe I had my own brush with road rage the other day with a woman, she was completely off her rocker. I would hope I never come to that !!

Hahahaha Steph no that is not very nice at all Girl I am normally a courteous Driver but I do get annoyed if you let someone out and they do not even say thank you that is so rude and of course the next Person that wants to come suffers as I will not let them out because I am still angry at the rudness of the other Person lol I guess that is not very nice either

So you have a touch of road rage huh?? Don't feel bad i think we all do.. I am a courteos driver.. i try to be also until they make me mad as well.. like if i am driving and someone is behind me and i don't go on a yellow or are tailgating me.. i will purposly slow down to irritate them more.. Like today i was driving and i missed the yellow light i stopped not thinking of it.. and he honked.. i was like fine then i am not going till the green hits.. I couldve gone on the yellow..i had time.. LOL.. so he moved over and just looked at me.. i just kept looking forward like what did i do? LOL but i usually move over to the left lane.. or i will let people come pull out in front of me coming out of a parking lot.. It makes me mad though that the courtesy is not given back.. but oh well as long as i get to where im going right.. its not like i will see these people again.. maybe

I am a courteous driver. I always think of the others on the road. Even if they are being mean I think they have just had a bad day. I Dont take it personal.

I always make it a point to give way for those cars who are running faster than I am. I will give them enough space to pass over me. It's very important to always look with our mirror (side and rear) to know if someone is making an effort to overtake (pass)us. Though it's their responsibility, maybe we could just slow down and allowed them to pass by. I can define myself as defensive driver, trying to check all lanes (particularly the car in front of me) in order to avoid accident.

I'm mostly courteous, but like you if someone puts a bee in my bonnet, I can become agressive, which is not a good thing and I'm working on it.

I try to be courteous for the most part, well until I get angry then I am done with being nice. I can get a bit of road rage.

It really depends on the other driver.If they try to boss their way in front of me....than hell no I won't let them go first.I make it a point to not pull out in front of people and I will let someone pull out of the side if I'm coming up to a stop sign or red light anyways.It's just that some drivers think that you have to let them go first or move over for them no matter what and that's when I see red. The best ones are usually when one side of the highway is closed of and they have signs posted way ahead of time that you should merge into the other lane and veryone does except for the those few.Than they want you to stop or slow down to let them over when we get to the blocked road....I don't think so. Have you ever noticed how few people actually know how a 4 way stop really is supposed to work? I don't think they ever heard of the rightaway or that you should not force it. So I guess for the most part I'm a courteous driver.....until someone cuts me of.I have yelled a few choice words out the window before because of that....but I don't take it out on the next one.

I feel I am a good driver, and I try to be courteous as much as possible, being an ex schoolbus driver has taught me a lot. I have seen many things out on the road lol, as I have driven bus for 8 years. But nowadays everyone wants to think they own the road.
