Telemarketers...Have you noticed?

That they are getting smarter? I answered the phone one day and a female voice said, "Hello, may I speak to leeesa XXXX, please?" So I said, "This is..." and then there was a pause before the voice continued. At that time, I realized that I was talking to a computer!!! How stupid did I feel!! They are really getting good with the computerized voices and voice recognition. I really thought I was talking to a human for the first few seconds. (I can't believe I'm confessing this!)

Ugh....I hate telemarketers!! The worst is when you answer the phone to "Please hold for a very important message". Don't call me and put me on hold lol. Most of the time I just hang up the second I realize I'm on the phone with a telemarketer. It may be rude but it's better then sitting there telling them over and over again I'm not interested in whatever they are selling.

I do something even worst! One time I got a call during American Idol (don't disturb me when AI is on, lol) I just set the phone down and let them ramble away to the couch cushion while I continued to watch my show! When I heard the disconnect beeping, I hung up. If they want to waste my time, then right back at 'em!
