I don't hate her, but I'm baffled by her ignorance. She's famous because she bought her fame. She bought her way into Hollywood parties and she bought her friends. I think most people hate her since she really doesn't have any talent, or any intelligence.
The only thing I hate is that she is getting all those DUIs. Drunk drivers kill people, and when you are filthy rich there is no reason you can't get a cab, or limo in her case, to drive you around when you are drunk.

I don't hate her, in fact I could care less about her. The thing that bothers me so much is that so many young boys and girls look up to her, when she is a bad influence. It's like they think it is cool to be ignorant and look down on the poor! I just wish that young and older people also would look up to people who are more noble, that have helped others, or changed the world for better, or sacrificed themselves for others or a cause. It just seems foolish to me.

I understand your point, but even if it isn't her fault that children look up to her, they do. And knowing that, she has a responsiblity to be a good role model, I sound like my mom but it's true. I'm not saying that she shouldn't be able to have fun and go to clubs and parties, but she knows that since the media is so intrusive, she is going to have little girls seeing everything she does.
And I don't hate her I just have disliked her alot ever since I saw that video of her using racial slurs and making fun of poor people. I actually kinda feel bad for her.

You might be right, Salerno... But then, is it her fault if young people look up to her? Sure it's not. She might be a bad influence, yeah! But she's got some kinda strange power over people, otherwise she would be out of the media a long time ago.
Sure, she could use that influence for something better, but I still don't understand where this hate comes from. Actually none of you guys who replied hate her, so I still didn't get the exactly the type of answer I'm looking for. You're all too nice, I'll keep waiting for some bad fellas to show up here. Hahaha! :P

People hate her for reasons beyond what they are actually are saying. I believe some of it is jealousy. She is a beautiful rich young woman who seems to be enjoying her life.Of course she should not have driven drunk but on the other hand why do we need to be out to get her. I think she needs to learn a lesson but plenty of people who have committed the same crime and have been sentenced to punishments other then jail time.

I agree with you, sus. Most people hate her only because she is a "spoiled rich little brat". Like it's a reason to hate anyone, and like there's anything wrong with being rich. I also believe that those who say it, only "hate" her because they're kinda jealous.

I don't hate her. She leaves me indifferent.
I don't find her attractive either.
But I have a soft spot for people who rock the establishment. I am taking a liking to her for that. Particulary when you see the media plastering her in every magazine for all the wrong reasons.
To become famous for being infamous is quite an achievement. But not surprising. You have to be bad today in order to be famous.
There are plenty of wealthy people who get away with murder. But it seems that the police in America has a vendetta against every celebrities. Probably because they get a pay off under the table from the tabloids to catch them and inform on them.

I don't hate Paris Hilton but it obvious why she is the butt of so many jokes.
Namely she is famous because of who she is, not really for anything she has done. She is a rich, spoiled heir to the Hilton dynasty and she's used that fame to party, and become a not very good actress.
I do have to give her credit for all her misadventures, many I'm sure were planned to add to her infamy, which in turn keeps her popular and people talking about her. A lot of the hype I think has to be related to jelousy.

Considering that most people who hate her are girls, I also relate it to jealousy. She might be a spoiled brat, but then many others are, ans she gets all the fame.
She's never done anything much important in her life, and she is quite a celebrity, always in evidence. So I guess her charisma "bothers" a lot of people.
I think she is a very beautiful and lucky girl, that makes some stupid things once in a while. But why is she famous? Because she deserves to.

hey there laridbz. i dont hate paris hilton, in fact i kinda like her. yeah, i know she has the image of being a brat, party girl and flirt, i still like her because of her fashion sense and her life perspective. it seems that her life is "All pink" and i envy her. it seems like life for her is so easy. however, her latest dillema, the one where she has to go to prison for a lot of driving offenses and that makes me not like her so much anymore. :P
