Astrology is nothing but bullshit! Sri Lanka is overflowing with Astrologers and Economic problems. If all Astrologers could do anything, we can easily conquer America and Russia and be the next superpower. How are we going to do that? Simple. When recruiting men to the army instead of expensive medical tests and all that, we can get our Astrologers to read their horoscope. After that we will recruit those who have long life in their stars. They will be the once who will be sent to war. Then we will conquer the world.

How can it offend me. My wife and her family are heavily into astrology. In fact it has brought much losses to me by delayed work and all that. I have an interesting story on Astrology about my wife's younger sister. My wife's younger sister refers to her horoscope for everything. Once she went for a job and after just one day she resigned as the work was strenuous. Later her mother took her horoscope to see what is wrong. They came home and told me how true it is and she said that the Astrologer told her exactly, that she went for work for just one day, with the date that she went to work. I firmly said that the Astrologer must have got it out of her mouth which she denied. Time passed and once I got a astrology software in a diskette. I put it into my computer and checked everyone's Star sign. It gave it all correctly except my wife's sister's. She was supposed to be "Vrushaba" but the computer gave it as "Mesha". Though I don't believe in Astrology, the mathematics used has to give the correct result, whoever did the calculation. So I insisted that what the computer says cannot be wrong. I checked her horoscope and found out what has gone wrong. She was born on 26th night at 12.25. She was celebrating her birthday on the 26th. When they gave the time to the Astrologer on her birth he have confusingly taken the time as 26th 12.25 p.m., whereas it should have been 27th 0.25 a.m. You see she was actually born on 27th. After that she celebrates her birthday on 27th. But she shyly avoids my question as to how everyone gave such accurate readings from her false horoscope. Another female friend of mine went to a very famous Astrologer with her husband and she said that with one glance at the horoscope the astrologer said that they don't have children. She said they just went and sat there and did not speak a word. I being a non believer told her it is impossible and to tell me exactly what the Astrologer told. The Astrologer has said "Madam, the most valuable thing on earth to a couple are children". Then I said, so that is true. He had not told that the couple do not have children. The statement is true to someone who is have 20 children also. Then she realised how these Astrologers make common statements which the believer applies to himself.

I believe in astrology and I get my horoscope sent to my email each day. You just have to keep in mind with horoscopes that it is geared toward that complete sun sign and though some of it may relate to you, some of it may not..It is a guidance tool not something to tell you exactly what to do or what will happen for that time frame.

I use a site which also does Tarot, Numorolody, and IChing. It is free of charge to join and get your astrology sent to your email daily. They also have some paid services but they are optional and not required to join or recieve your horoscope. If you would like you can send me a message on here with your email address and I will send you the link to the site. Have a Blessed Day

Yes, to an extent. I don't think that every person has every single trait that their sign says, but I do believe that a lot of those traits are present in some form or another. Some are just more muted than others.

I have read my full description of my sign as well, and although a lot of it is true, there are definitely parts that are not. But how boring would life be if we were all the same if we shared the same sign and were exactly alike?

A lot of people do not. They find it of the devil and want nothing to do with it. I, for one, never let it rule my life but find the concepts interesting.

There is no real need to believe in astrology. You ask why? If you do and you don't it does run your life from one second to the next. Now if you are only going by the sun sign then you have nothing to believe in. For there are 9 planets that you were born under and each one has an influence on your life and how things will happen. You will hear people saying that one Leo is not like another Leo, the reason for that is the time and location factor of birth along with the positioning of the other 8 planets. When reading horoscopes out of newspapers you only get the reading of the sun that is basically general and you are not general by a long shot. Believe it, yes, with every fiber of my being. I am looking for one of you discussions about heaven being forever as soon as I find it I have a response for it.

I don't believe in future telling....I believe in Christ, but I do enjoy looking to what could happen. I take it all with a grain of salt and never let it control my days ahead.

I cannot say that I beleive in astrology but, at the same time, I have to say that if I read something about that I am interested. I am not searching that, just reading if I find. I think something is right and interesting but a lot of things are wrong and stupid.

I do not let anything rule my life other than prayer and my faith in Jesus. But the history and supposed scientific reasoning is what interests me the most about astrology. Intersting is right! If it sounds good, and seems optimisitc, I read further. If it doesn't apply to me, I disregard it.

I dont entertain astrology and horoscopes. All these are originated from India, that too from witch practicenors. They bring curses unknown. It is better to stay away from those. This allows the devil to creap into the lives of Christians. Keep away from the spirits of darkness which ultimately takes us to destruction even if it tells truth concerning the past. But future he canot tell acurately, except his(satan's) plans of distruction.Past he can tell b'cause devil knows the past.

I used to believe in Astrology, because it seemed like it was actually predicting things for me.If we can find a good astrologer,he can predict our future with some accuracy up to some extend. But,now it very difficult to find a good astrologer. Some people with out knowing astrology cheat people and destroying the reputation of good astrologer also. Most educated people dismiss astrology as rubbish, but there is something in it. I still believe that more research is needed in this area. There is some mysterious force controlling all our day to day activities.with out seeing God,we all believe in God.

HAI PRINCESS. I BELEIVE IN AS TROLOGY . HOW MUCH DO U BELEIVE DEPENDS UPON INDIVUAL INTEREST. i JUST BELEIVE BECAUSE OF ITS PERFECTION . tHE HOROSCOPES PERFECTLY predicts the things that will happen and happend and will going to happen . But be sure , the time of birth should be exact one. Because it the time which decides every thing. Astrology is a great science and related with metaphysics. I like and have beleive.
