Serving God is differnt from worshipping Him, but some people mistakes service for worship. I believe the reason is that most people run to God when they are in difficult situation, then you will see them worshipping God with all their whole heart as if God can be bribed. If you love God you will serve, worship, and also keep his commands. Though, some people doesn't care, they believe man has no head? What do you say?

God is great! Helping others is serving god indirectly.

I totally agree that worshipping GOd is different from serving him. Serving him means that you give your heart to him in everything you do. I serve God in everything I do because I do it all for him. I write my own blog about faith and what it means to have faith (wayofhope.net) I volunteer at church, am a lay minister and more.

I agree that worshiping and serving God are two different things and that people get the two confused sometimes. Serving God is acting the way Jesus did, donating time and moeny, and even sometimes items to charities (like homeless shelters etc) without trying to get something in return, visiting someone in the hospital, praying, and so much more.

All individuals have head but uses it in different ways. we can serve God in many ways. as Christ is the head and us as part of the body of Christ.Example i can be a hand a helping hand to the needy.as mouth I can spread the great commission, the salvation. We should always serve and worship God so that when difficult times comes our way, we will not be shaken but can hold on to God.
