glass fish - fish
Well we have to 1) use energy efficient eqpts. 2) switch off electrical appliances when not in use. 3) plant more trees 4) save water (indirectly save energy) 5) go in a public transport.

He or she can spread the word about the Venus Project, http://www.thevenusproject.com and keep telling people about it til it spreads across the Earth and into every Life... it is a solution for the future of all Species and our Planet! :)

The first thing to do is to get educated about the subject. This means reading the best arguements pro and con. Have you done that? After you look up and consider both sides pro and con then pass on what you have learned to others. Here's what I've learned. The earth is going through a natural cycle of global warming that mankind has almost nothing to do with. The earth is warming up no matter what we do. However, not to worry as the amount of warming and raising of the level of the oceans is going to be very little over the next few hundred years. There you have it. What one person can do is try to reduce the anxiety and hysteria.

The earth is not sick. The last ice age ended about 10,000 years ago. Currently the cycle length between ice ages is about 100,000 years. Given the last ice age ended only 10,000 years ago, we are early into the warming cycle that naturally occurs after every ice age. That's all that is happening. Mother nature is doing what she has done for billions of years here at planet earth.

I sorry that i stepped on your toes. :-( So what you are saying is that all the professors who are saying the opposite of what your side think is wrong...? i do not read reports, i do not see movies because i do not trust them.... One can get a report who looks like you want it, if you have the money to pay for it, and that is what i think is going on in the world. one of the most powerfull organisations are the organisations who have to do with oil and so on.... I of cause listen to pro and con, but mostly i listen to the earth.... The resent years there have been a warmer climate, in Denmark the temperature has rissen 4 degree C, with in the last 10 years. There are a lot more volcano eruptions, tzunami, tornados etc... in the world these years than there has been, and i think that, that is the earth telling us that it is sick... That is my opinion.

A surprising number of climate scientists are changing their positions concerning man made global warming. At this myLot discussion url is a link to the US SENATE Committee of the Environment and Public Works where there is an article concerning why scientists are changing their minds and who they are. http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1082205.aspx

I walk to work as much as possible instead of getting a drive by my kids(I don't drive) or if its rainy, I take the bus. I didn't cut down the ugly tree in my front yard because it uses carbon dioxide and other chemicals for fuel

Can you stop an earthquake from happening? Can you stop a volcano from erupting? I don't see why so many people are thinking about stopping global warming since it simply is not going to happen, we might be able to slow it down somewhat but fact is fact. Climate changes WILL come, no matter what we do about it. If only governments would stick as much time and money in evacuation plans rather than trying to fight the inevitable we would stand a much better chance when it happens. In the current situation though if something like Katrina would strike NYC due to the climate changes there are estimations of up to 10 million people dying as buildings would crumble and the city would fall to it's knees. Meanwhile the evacuation plan for such an event is still quite trashy and rarely gets looked into.
