Weird and Embarrassing Behavior When You are Home Alone

Singing is a big one for me. I have a horrible singing voice, but I often sing for my son. I even make up completely ridiculous songs and stories for him, that I would be pretty embaressed if someone else heard. Another thing that I tend to do is wear things that completely do not match, or just don't really make any sense together, or just run around in my underwear (or less!). This morning I had a bit of a scare because I went out to the laundry room (which is on our floor but not in our apartment) half-naked looking for underwear, and heard someone coming up the steps! It turned out to be my husband, but that could have been embarressing if it were a visitor! We're the only people living in the house right now, but really it's cut into two apartments (one for each floor) and I really wish they had been able to somehow put our laundryroom inside our apartment door rather than outside, because I'm always out there less than dressed. =p

I sing and dance a lot when I am on my own and I don't sing well! Sometimes my dog joins in. all the best urban

pick my nose! gosh. now, i am truly embarrassed. hehe. i always have a roll of tissue right next to me. i hate it when i feel that the insides of my nostrils are dirty. so, i always pick! one time, i was chatting to my boyfriend online. i forgot that we are having a cam to cam chat. i was picking my nose. he later messaged me before we said "bye bye" saying, "the cam's on! stop picking!" hehehe. we laughed about it. ... anne

Oh boy, this is embarrasing but I sing to my puppy too! I was playing some "My Chemical Romance" yesterday evening and singing some of the lyrics to him. It was so funny - he cocked his head and just looked at me with his far too human eyes. Then I started whistling the tune and he loved that bit. I just got covered in dog slobber from all the licking he did! Sometimes I just have music on super loud and dance around in the house - good job the neighbours aren't that close! lol

run arround naked and in bumy clothes and undies...lol and laying down with feet propt up on pillows , chilling out in those bumy clothes...lol

I don't sing to my cats but they think that I am - must be that bad - they think I'm another cat serenading them! I have a baby now and I found that I'm sillier then ever, I make a big deal of him crawling, sitting or standing up. I sing and dance silly. I make up outrageously corny rhymes for him. And of course give brrzerberts. Take care.

I, like Transdisc, can not think of a single thing. I guess I am one of those shameless people.

this will have to be singing in whatever mode possible :) i just can't sing when i am in front of other people. it's not that i don't have a good voice but because i just don't have the confidence to sing when someone is there. whenever i am alone, i put the radio on a station where i can sing their songs. i'd do a concert where i will really sing out loud the songs and even dance if it is a danceable tune.

Aww--gosh, maryannemax stole my lines!! I was reading through the discussions and people's responses and they were all so "nice" I mean I wouldn't consider signing an embarrassing behavior...so I was so surprised no one said the obvious until maryannemax...pick one's nose! Well yup I do that at home and really go for it there....hehe...like I was digging for gold or something....LOL

I have a litany of stuff I do that I wouldn't do in front of most people. There are degrees, like the husband can see, or the kids can see. what I will not do in public, under any circumstances is eat a greasy old saucy Chicken Kebab, but I love to eat them at home. They aren't kebabs like on a sitck,but chunks of meat with lettuce and sliced cabbage in a pita and smeared with buckets of taco sauce and mayonaise. They drip everywhere and stuff falls out and runs down your chin. Definately an eat at home item!

When I'm at home alone, I cook. Cooking is not embarrassing but pretending that I have a cooking show and talking like a rachael ray poser wannabe is!

Well if you consider being caught by next door neighbours with nothing on but my underpants, then yeah its embarrassing. Or worse going to get the mail with nothing on but my underpants. Lets just say the second experience makes me reccolect of events that i'm not particularly proud of. LOL

Hmmm lets see things i do at home when i'm all alone that i dont do if im not. Leave the bathroom door open when showering or going to the washroom. Walk around naked or topless (ok i admit i've done that when my boyfriends around) Dance like a crazy person Talk to myself. or sing...into the mic on the computer. Theres messy foods i'll only eat at home or around my family i'd never eat while out in a restaurant. HMMM Sleep naked. (again have done that while my boyfriend is around) Ok so id say theres things i do alone..and things i do with certain people around.

Wow that was funny! I guess one thing that I don't want people to see if when I dance while taking a bath. I also feel like performing while showering thinking that I am a contestant in American Idol. I am also a debater so sometimes I practice my speech alone in front of my mirror. Sometimes I think I feel like an idiot because if a person would see me I would really look funny. I also have the habit of impersonating people. i also pretend to be a radio announcer when I'm inside my car. It really looks weird because it seems like i'm talking to myself when you see me from another car. I also laugh out loud when I listen to a hilarious morning show or when I listen to howard stern. I pretty much easily laugh so you can only imagine how crazy it gets. I also sing inside my car when I like the tune and sometimes I am really not in tune.

hahaha yes sometimes I feel dilerousley happy and have crazy outbursts of singing dancing or just silly sayings and crazy behavour my son sometimes tells me to be quiet but I can't help but laugh and continue... It's funny.... If I've been doing something for too long I start to do it... Stop me from going insane I go crazily funny and be stupid.... Why not, who cares......

I have to admit I'm a bit like you. I sing to my animals (my cat and dog) or just have silly conversations with them. I would be so embarrassed if someone witnessed my silly behavior with my animals. But the most embarrassing thing I do is make up these silly dances just for the heck of it. I know how silly I look but I just don't care. It feels good to be a bit silly and shake off responsibility and forget you're a 'grown-up' even if it is only for a few minutes!

sing with the radio - dance with a kitty or the puppy - paint - why I wanna be alone to paint I dunno - but I do dance in anyway other than belly dance - I've gotten used to dancing in public with belly dance ;-) not so much with anything else

Sometimes I'll talk to myself. thats probably the weirdest it gets. I will eat strange food combinations by myself, when I'm home alone.

I usually sing or talk stupid to my animal kids. If anyone heard the way I talk to my animals,they would probably try to have me locked up in the looney bin,lol

when nobody is at home i cook , ya i cook and experiment because its the time when noone else will be on par and in the line of fire of tasting my experiments :)
