We have many live examples around us with their age more than 100 years but now a days its hard to live so long or hard even to cross 80 as the health conditions are not so good days every one above 60-65 is suffring from heart diseases, brain tumor, cancer, diabities and a lot more because nothing in pure in nature every thing is inorganic what so ever we eat, polluted air, water.what do you thing is the average age a person is living these days. please share your views

Why do you think you want to live longer? If you have taken care of yourself when you were young chances are you be able to outlive your grandparents but again being too old and incapable of doing anything will become a problem to your children. I wouldn't dream of a long life.

I dont think its possible anymore with our or future generation. My grandma is 84 now and she is i perfect health without any disease whereas my dad is 60 years with diabeties.I wonder what will be the average age limit for future generation.

I think it's definitely possible to live past 100 cause I've known some people who have, but it is certainly quite the accomplishment to live that long! A lot of the people in my mom's side of our family live pretty long, and it seems like most of them live to their 90s. I'm hoping I will get those good genes! lol

Humankind has long dreamt of living hundreds of years without growing old. While scientists sought a pill that would turn the dream into reality, writers imagined places where people never aged, and adventurers pinned their hopes of amassing fortunes on the elusive ''fountain of youth.'' There are certain places where special conditions favour longevity. Living over hundered is possible by quality of life, integrated work and physical exercise with an adequate diet and ''inner peace.'' People who are agile and mentally lucid, with a sense of humour and admirable physical health tend to live longer than other people who are regularly stressed or do not know how to live healthy.

I'm sure its possible, many people have done it, but I am not sure that there is any special formula for longevity. It is probably healthy life style with a big dose of good luck tossed in.

Actually, while more and more lifestyles have become increasingly lazy and gluttonous, I am of the understanding that living conditions themselves are actually improving (save for pollution and the like). While the Holy Bible talks about lifespans in excess of 900 years, yet throught what we call "documented history," life expectancies are rising, not falling. I understand the oldest person in my church is 97.
