Awarding of BR is individual choice though mylot advices to at least wait for a week before awarding the BR. I experienced getting BR few minutes after posting my response. This is not supposed to be but I think the poster was so touched by my views and did not think it necessary to wait any further. Giving immediate BR will only jeopardize the chances of drawing more responses for a discussion...

It is time to buy properties when the prices arl below the market price. Property prices in my place has not been reduced but instead the increasing building materials have forced the developers to increase their prices. I agree with you dawn. Time factor is important here when we post our discussions. We should respect the world clock. Since we are in different time zones, it is important to post when most of the western countries are in their day time which is night in most Asian countries if we want to target countries that make up the majority of the population in mylot.

The organizer should have a demerit system whereby all contestants should be able to understand and converse in English failing which certain points will be taken off from their marks. Since this is an international event every contestants should learn to speak this language to qualify for the final round. I don't fancy those that uses interpreter to communicate to the questions asked.

It is nice to receive responses from newbies especially those on their maiden response to a discussion. I do receive newbies responses but those with the No.1 besides their names are rare. Maybe they are reluctant to respond to oldies for fear of being snapped. I welcome anyone new or old to support my discussions. Without their support, a discussion is meaningless.

It depends on situation. If it is only a casual greetings a contact through telephone and emails is sufficient but when it comes to serious business deals I would prefer to deal face to face with the person. Having meet a person face to face will help me to gauge the character of the person which can help me in my decision making.
