Poor girl she is torn between her parents and her lover. If she thinks of her long term happiness she should go along with her heart's desire and for once reject her father's choice. No doubt it would infuriate his father but rest assured it is only temporary. Match-making is no longer practical in this modern age. Going through match-making to please others will be a living hell.

@carol, women are always at high risk during deliveries. Anything can happen to them. It is between life and death. I've heard many cases of women who died during deliveries because of complications like bleeding non stop as you mentioned here.

My parents weren't that well off but my grandparents were. My grandparents helped my parents to raise us so the burden of raising many children were not really felt by my parents.

mylot is always full of surprises. No one can ever fathom their mysterious games of suspense. Maybe it is their way of making our stay here more interesting, enjoying their game of 'now you see now you don't.' LOL
