How much money you have made on the internet?

May 18, 2007 10:10am CST
I worked it out last night. I think I’ve made around £300 which is around $600. I’m pretty proud of myself! That’s without referrals from my site [www.moneyonline.co.nr]. Hopefully I’ll be able to get the total quite a bit higher. How much do you reckon you have made so far?

I see many people make goood money with online programs but they live in the USA in most cases where offers are available, for the rest of us it´s dissaponting.cause we make less.

I agree with you there. You just have to have a good look around for sites that are available in your country.

I've made several $100 but every time I've made them I've lost tham again because of some program shutting down. Lost a lot when Stormpay stole everyones money. So in total paid out maybe $400or soemthing like that. Maybe mroe I spend some of the money on Paypal.

Oh dear. I've not been a victim of that so far, it's horrible that they can do that to people. You just have to be really careful which sites you use.

How long did it take you to make $600? I have made only $60 but it is in a 6 week period. I thought that was pretty good for someone not knowing anything about making money on the net.

Wow that is really good, working online just with online sites I have probably made $200, working online with eBay I have made over $7,000 in 2 years, but as of lately eBay is not as profitable as it was when I first started selling on there, so I am always looking for something new to do.

Perhaps I should have sold cars on eBay, I might have made more money, as it was I was selling fine fur coats, it was GREAT money for about 2 years and then the bottom fell out and nobody wanted to buy fur coats and if they did they didn't want to pay anything for them, so I packed up my remaining inventory and sent it to the furrier to be cleaned for me to wear next season, if it ever gets cold that is, I now live in Texas and we are limited on cold days here.

Aren't fur coats illegal in some countries now? I think the problem may be that most people would prefer to wear a fur substitute.

Wow! I'm the same with ebay. You just can't make much of a profit anymore, it's cheaper just to sell at a car boot sale.

I shouldn't really say. But I've made quite a bit from my web design company, although the first year was like £400 and something and most of that went into finding people interested in joining and promoting it. Since then I generally make enough to compare to actual job, but I do also work. Most of the money I earn goes into keeping my sites stable etc. although ^ doesn't mean I'm loaded, I've actually spent a lot of gadgets which drives my wife crazy. On mylot so far £54 but now I'm back I'm easily going to beat that. :) ~Joey

Earning money online is not really my cup of tea. I have my own personal work which is giving me a good earnings every month. The problem with most of the online money making is that they are not available in my country. Nevertheless, I have some sites that I joined but I am not using it as my daily source of income.

To each their own! There are a few sites that are available everywhere and actually pay but they are mostly specialist sites like stock photography, writing and some survey sites.

In the past I made enough money online to pay off huge medical bills. The company is no longer in business. I also learned to do Day Trading in the 90's online and made about 30K but it was nerve racking and all consuming. Paying the IRS on the loss/profit was interesting as it was before we had software that could track. We adopted children with disabilities so I have always had to do something from home. At the moment I am doing something I am passionate about because it doesn't cost anything to join. Nothing. The program also serves a social need as far as fund raising for children in need. It works on the premise everyone shops and if they do it online we get a small rebate. The funny thing is everyone wants HUGE money now. They don't want to build slowly and consistently to enjoy a nice income. I don't know if I am allowed to post my website, I did it when I first started. It is in on my profile page.

Wow, that is very impressive! I've not tried any large ventures, i'm not into risk but i will have a look at your website. Your right of course, it is better to build up a steady income.

It was easier and I was younger 10 years ago so took more risk in marketing high ticket items. I can't do that anymore-I mean calling 100 leads to get maybe 2-3 sign-ups that don't stay with the hard work involved. Now my focus is on free to join and build income slowly with staying power. My passion is for anyone willing to listen and learn to be able to provde for their financial needs.
