Pimms and Lemonade is a lovely drink for summer days.
it's nice to have a great big cold jug of it on a hot day, with lots of lovely fruit and herbs in it. people like to put all kinds of things in it.
I like
Borage flowers (so pretty. just floating or in ice cubes - if you put lemon juice in the water the flowers turn pink, so I do half pink half blue with the ice cubes, or just straight off the plant and floated)
Borage leaves - taste like a much lighter cucumber, without the burping
strawberries
raspberries (we use ones from the freezer, like fruity ice cubes)
chopped apple (really soaks up the pimms flavour)
kiwi
mint leaves
lemon balm leaves
lots of people like to use chopped orange, lemon or cucumber, but my favourites are above.

My family are Pimms-a-holics. Every summer we have nothing but Pimms in the house! I don't really like it to be honest, but I know what my Mum puts in it as she does the same every year as long as I can remember. She puts in mint, apple, orange, pear and blueberries.

I love borage - its great in a salad.
but I guess at some point I'll have to see if the local carries Pimms. I've heard of it for years but never tried it.
Maybe its time ;)
