Hello, Watching movies are really a very preferred timepass for most of us. Where do you prefer to watch the movies ? At Theatres along with a huge mass of people ? Or at Home in a DVD player or Home Theatre along with your family and friends, munching the food you wish ? Why do you choose your choice ? For me, I would always like to watch the movies in the Theatres. But I will try to take as many family & friends with me.. What about you ?

I have to say I really don't like theaters anymore. I would much rather sit in the comfort of my own home with my feet up and really chillax to watch a movie.

Not at all. The point is to stay home and not mingle with a bunch of others! The last movie we went to there was too much noise, someone's cell phone kept ringing etc etc. I'm so anti social lol

i prefer watching most movies in the theatres especially those with great visual and sound effects like lord of the rings with those epic battle scenes. but for homely movies like finding nemo and shreak its more cosy to watch it in the comfort of ones home

It's always the theatre that is always best when watching movies. With a very wide screen and good sound effects its best to watch it via cinema. But nowadays it seems that prices of going into cinema is becoming either prohibitive or sometimes there no more time for it anymore so I just find contented watching it over our DVD player most of the time.

I love going to theaters to watch movies but i dont like it when the theaters are half full or more. There seems to be alot rude people these days that dont seem to care or value the theater exsperience somtimes, I went to see Ghost rider the beginning of march it had been out for a few weeks and it happened to be the day that 300 was starting and thought we would be safe to go to it and not have too many people there and it was even the early show, i was wrong and the kid that i was sitting by kept snapping a rubber band that he had on his wrist over and over and over again, until finally i had enough and i had to ask him to quit.So i think even though it is awesome to got to the movies and you dont have the wait time for it to come out on dvd, i prefere to watch at home.

In fact, I prefer going to theater to wacht film, but I seldom go for theater because of time and money. :) It seems that my friends don't like watching films in theater, I don't like watching one film alone,so less chance for me to go for theater. And you know the ticket for each new film is not cheap, it is hard for me to afford, I couldn't go for theater frequently. I remember that my last time to go for theater was two years ago.

Why do I prefer watching films in theater? Maybe I like the environment, I like the wide screen, really great. :) If all of us watch films at home, the films industry will become gloomy. If permitted, it's better for us to watch films in theater occasionally, it will give us different feelings.

i will go to the movies maybe two or three times a year. love the popcorn, and the size of the movie.. its all about the movie, no phone calls, no kids, no disruptions. Its too expensive to go to often, and really they come out so quickly now on dvd, its more convenient and costs less to stay at home, expecially with the gas prices so high. we just pay per view off the cable, and boom you have a movie!

I was just talking about this with my boyfriend the other day. Seeing how high the tickets are usually for movies in the cinema it seems that we're practically being forced to watch movies at home. DVDs are cheaper in the long run, plus you don't have annoying people in the audience who ruin the movie for you. I used to prefer the cinema, but now I'd rather watch movies at home.

I much prefer to sit at home to watch a movie, and cant remember the last time I went out to watch one. I hate the idea of sitting next to a stranger to watch a film, and being in a controlled enviroment. Its much nicer to be at home with the people you want to be with to watch a film.

I like watching movies at home AND going out to see them. There is something exciting about going out to see them. I always try to go to the early shows so there isn't that many people as there are for late shows. Since I'm a parent, it often makes more sense to stay home and watch movies because taking all three of them to a movie at the age they are at is just a disaster waiting to happen. Now I did take my oldest son to see Spiderman 3 a couple of weeks ago and we enjoyed that. This morning I'm hoping to take my middle son to see Shrek 3 but that all depends on if my Mom will watch my 2 year old so we'll see what happens.

I prefer to watch movie at home coz the theaters now are too high at cost, plus the food that you will bought when your watching. But in home If I will buy a Dvd Is much less cheaper and I can eat whatever I like. And I can watched again the movie if I like.

I always tend to prefer to watch movies at home don't know why, maybe because of the subtitles and you can pick out everything being said. However at movies, the atmosphere is better and the experience is definitely better, but home takes the win due to being able to make myself at home whilst enjoying a movie.

For myself, I would prefer to watch at home theatre. Reason being I have children; it is easier. We can pause as and when we like it, with all kind of snack, drinks. Yes!

of course in theatre you can enjoy better facility , in good environment, but since i watch movie as soon as i'm free, so it's more easy and comfortable at home. in theatres your mood always be interrupted by those people ~~you know.
