I know it is a topic of intense debate in all the world but I think an ovum and spermatozoon becomes a human person at the time of the conception, but another people think that human life become a human person after conception, and I think removal a fetus from the uterus is a crime.

I agree with you 100 percent! The moment a child is conceived it is a human life. There is no acceptable reason for abortion. If someone has a child and aren't willing to take care of it then give it up for adoption, please. There are numerous people out there who want desperately to have a child but cannot and would love to have that child to love and take care of. If a lady is raped I know that has to be a horrible thing to go through and if she becomes pregnant with the one who committed the crime that would have to be worse, but the child is innocent and can't help how he/she was conceived. If the lady doesn't want to keep the child please give it up for adoption.

It does not matter how many forms of protection you use. There is no such thing as 100% effective birth control. Everything has a failure rate and the extremely unliky can become pregnant while on as many as four kinds of birth control. However, one also has to concider how horribly troublesome using 5 different kinds can become. No matter how many you use, if it fails, then it fails. Abortion is the only safety net.

Dear friend, if you don't want to have children that is your right and privilege, but there are ways to keep from getting pregnant. That way there is not a problem with an unwanted pregnancy. SheliaLee

You are right, I have heard of ladies getting pregnant while on the birth control pill. In those cases it may be wise to use extra protection just to be safe. Have a great day! SheliaLee

I am nine weeks pregnant and I can't imagine having an abortion. At nine weeks fetuses have heartbeats that can be heard by doppler. Babies are blessings.

Ditto to clam. I can't stand the little buggers. I could never want or have my own. And carrying one? The very thought makes my skin crawl.

As soon as the mother's and father's RNA combines and creates a new DNA, a new human being is formed. The new life has to be a human being because it has DNA consistent with that of a human being. It has to be living because it has a metabolism. Therefore, abortion on demand is nothing but the killing of another human being for he convenience of another. I'll stop short of calling it murder though. Murder is a legal term defining a criminal act, since abortion on demand is (sadly) legal, it isn't right, but it isn't murder.

You're right, what cranial flatulence! I typed RNA but meant Nucleotides... in other words.. each strand of the double helix.

1. Murder: unlawful premeditated killing of a human being by a human being 2. Embryo.: developing human organism from 4 days after fertilization to the end of the eight week. 3. Fetus Unborn baby; from about seven to eight weeks of development until birth. Prior to that time considered an embryo. 4. Killing To deprive of life 5. Murder: The unlawful killing of one human by another Therefore killing a fetus is murder.

It is not a crime here in the US, thankfully. When a sperm & ovum meet it is nothing more than two cells with the potential to become a life. Many things can happen to it on that path. Until a fetus has developed functioning organs, and has some reasonable chance of viability, I don't understand how anyone can call it a life.

I think abortion is the unlawful killing of a life. Murder is the unlawful killing of one human by another, therefore abortion is no different. Abortion is murder.

I have heard two women talking about being pregnant, they came to the point that abortion is the topic. A woman got pregnant 2 months old but the baby was in the tube (fallopian tube) not in the uterus. She chose to abort that fetus instead of giving birth abnormally. It was my first hearing that real-life story. There are some situations that abortion will be right choice for a good reason. But still it is a sin/crime if you do it intentionally.

A pregnancy outside of the uterus has NO chance of continuing to a normal birth. If not removed, the embryo will continue to grow until it causes the woman's tube to burst. If it is still not treated medically septic shock will soon begin & the woman will die.

Therefore, abortion could be a right decision in this case. ~mar

Hello dear steve. I think that it is better for the pregnant woman to give birth to the baby since it is a small life getting developed in her body. If they do not wish to have another baby, it is better for them to be more careful not to get pregnant next time...

Sorry i disagree, i think that every woman has the right to choose, and believe it is better not to have a baby than to have one and neglect it. Accidents do happen and i'm sure women think long and hard before they make their decision. Would you prefer all these women to have the babies and put them in a childrens home, there are enough poor kids around the world without families why add to it.

This is such a tough question...As a Christian, I don't think it's right at all. That baby, no matter what the circumstance, still has a right to live and grow and become a part of society. I always feel like it would be better for that child to be given up for adoption if the mother or father doesn't want it. And even in the case of rape, etc, the baby still needs to be born. Its still murder no matter how it was concieved. Now in the case of abortion to save the mother's life. That's a tough one as well. If I were in that case, I think I would have to pray alot about it and hope that God pointed me in the right direction.
