my cat always want to sleep with me or with my mother at night, and she always want to sleep on my bed. but both my mother and me stop her to do this. she seems upset about this. but we really don't want her sleep on our bed. if this happened on you, will you allow her to sleep on your bed ? I know lots of people don't care their cat sleep on their bed, but I feel my cat is a little dirty, so I could not accept her to do this. what about you?

Lol My cat doesnt realy give you a choice. my cat loves to be wth people all the time and constantly nags for attention. I really love my cat but when i'm busy he's not the best thing to be around. As for letting him in in the night i generally do. Though my cat will sleep for say half an hour then get up and pick at me or nuzzle my head for attention. After i dont give him any attention he will get up and scratch on my door for me to let him out. So I have to get up and let him out. the half an hour later he will scratch on my door again to come back in. So i'll have to get up again to let him abck in. Then when hes in he'll want to go out again and it just carries on through out the night. The soloution would be to leave my door open. But I hate my door being open and cant sleep with it open. So though i like the company of my cat lately me and my mum have had to shut him in the kitchen so that we can get some sleep. The catflap is in the kitchen so he can still go in and out and it saves us from being kept awake. I do agree with you though if i felt my cat was dirty i wouldnt let him stay on my bed. Though my cat seems quite clean and spends most of him time indoors anyway.

I've always allowed my cats to sleep on the bed with me at night. They also nap on the bed right after they eat their breakfast. I don't worry about the cats dirtying the bed either; if they have to pee or poo, they jump off the bed and use the litterbox. Sometimes, I think that cats are cleaner than humans.

If your cat is an outdoor cat, the remedy for this is to let her out at night. Most cats prefer to be outside to roam at that time. They do their cat things, like catching bugs, mice, and hanging out with other cats. I would not allow a normally outdoor cat to sleep on my bed due to the possibility of it bringing in ticks and fleas. If your cat is an indoor cat and seems dirty, give her a bath! Cats make wonderful bedfellows. Really! I have 5 cats, and only one or two feel the need to be close and sleep with me. Most nights they just want to be petted, and then go off to sleep somewhere else. If you can't abide having your cat in bed, then you must provide her an equally comfortable place to sleep. chairs, high places, and window perches make the best sleeping arrangements for cats. They like to be where they can see the whole room. My cats like the tops of desks, our musical equipment, even my printer. I have to cover them all, of course. Sometimes providing an article of your clothing in a nice cat bed will encourage them to sleep there instead of in your bed. A clock that ticks also helps, since cats like to hear your heartbeat. It reminds them of their mother's heartbeat. Warmth and likewise breezes depending upon your climate are good for cats- so if it's cold, a hot water bottle under a cats' bed with encourage them to sleep there. In hotter climates, an open window that provides a cool breeze or a fan will also help. Think of your cat as your child, because she is. Do for her what you would try to do for a human child if you didn't want it to sleep with you. Provide a nice bed (or several) and offer them a place to sleep where they'll feel safe and secure.

i used to allow my favorte cat to sleep im my bed. i had given up trying to stop him because he would always be there when i wake up. i got used to having him in at the back of my calves when im sleeping on my side. sometimes he prefers to sleep next to my feet. cats wants to cuddle up when sleeping. its okay because i didnt have any allergies. but sometimes its just irritating when cats sleeps noisily, its like you have a generator next to you.
