On my 22nd birthday, Mr. Boom got me my first guinea pig. She was white and fluffy. I loved animals and guinea pigs was one of them, we named her Pwooof. I don't know, it sounds nice and unique, and I sometimes call her Pwooof, Pwooof. She loves to be touched; she was so adorable. She became fatter as she grew older. I got a male guinea pig for her. But she just ignored him and after a year, she died. I don't know why; it was so awful. My very first guinea pig, the one I had ever loved. I cried so hard upon knowing that she died. I was not there for her when that happened. I was not there on her last moment. Until now, remembering her makes me sad. I long for her, her white fur, everything. She was my first, I treated her like a baby. Well, maybe someday, I can find another Pwooof, just like her :~( Original photo is by yours truly.

Yep, I really wanted to have a potbelly pig, hehheh... Wow, you love frogs? I'm afraid of 'em! I don't know why. I loved looking at them but when they jump in front of me, I'm going nuts!

So sorry to hear that. Without having had a necropsy done, you won't ever really know. Do you still have the male? A good way to watch for illnesses in guinea pigs, is to weigh the guinea pig weekly on a kitchen gram scale. Since they are prey animals, guinea pigs try to hide their illnesses. But they can't hide weight loss if you're weighing them. For more information on guinea pig illnesses, see www.guinealynx.info
