They say that once or twice a year is fine but me, I visit my dentist every 3 months. I always have my teeth cleaned every time I visit my dentist. It's actually better that way so you become more confident every time you strike a smile.

Oral hygiene is important, and yes its not enough that we brush or floss our teeth but its also good to have a dentist check it regularly. However, i am guilty of not visiting a dentist. I can not even remember exactly when i my last appointed was. It's supposed to be at least every 6 months or so.

Oh dear! I think you have to go visit your dentist as early as possible so you will know what's been happening with your teeth.

When I was younger I used to go to the dentist once every 6 months. Now that I'm older I usually try to go just once a year or so. I hate going. Last time I went I didn't know that I had a cavity, but they said I did, they drilled it and now I can't eat on that side of my mouth months later.

I think when you were older you should have gone to the dentist more often so you didn't get the cavity that you really hated.

I go to get my teeth cleaned every 3 months. I have bad gums and since I've been going every 3 months my teeth have been feeling a lot better...although I did have a tooth pulled the other day lol. I figure too by them making me go every 3 months instead of 6 I'm getting a lot more free toothpaste, toothbrushes and floss hehe. -Stephanie
