I have been depressed all my life and have been on Prozac, which has brought me out of the darkness, since 1989. Lately I feel as if it isn't working as well as it used to. How hard is it to wean yourself and get on something different?

I took Prozac for a couple of years. I didn't have a very hard time getting off of it at all actually. As long as you are going to try to start taking something different instead I think that you should be fine with it. It took me over a month to feel any side effects from coming off of it.
