This discussion is for those that haven't used a feed reader and would like to know how they can help them out. I just wrote a blog post discussing what feeds are, what feed readers are, and how to use them. If you would like to know all about it, feel free to drop by my post: http://www.mattjonesblog.com/2007/05/23/blog-reading-using-a-feed-reader/ Have you been curious about feeds but don't know how to use them?

Enjoyed the post, matt I don't currently use a feeder and your article got me considering it more carefully. Thanks for explaining some of the basics and pros and cons.

Good subject. It will probably help a lot of people. I use Bloglines to subscribe to most the the blogs I read. It saves me a huge amount of time. Instead of having to check every blog daily to see if it's updated, I just wait for it to come up on Bloglines. Since I'm on dialup, it also saves time waiting for pages to load since it only loads the text and whatever graphics are included in the posts.
