I haven't been able to log in to start or reply to any discussions yesterday. Wait, I've only been able to respond to one but it was because it was requested of me.
Well, one day difference and I got from a ten star rating to nine!!! WTF???!!!! Who's out to sabotage me?!
I mean, sure the star rating doesn't really mean anything but I've been trying hard to respond nicely to people and as far as I know, I've stayed away from hot debate and I don't think I ever pissed anyone, I just wanted to ask....What the f**k is going on?!!!!
*sigh* anyways, I just want to rant. I really hate this. Now it will take me forever to get back a ten star.

it's not just you it's everyone who had a red or blue star and ratings 9 or 10...
i had red star 9 yesterday, many many topics have been started and ranted on pertaining to this, really, don't worry, it has affected everyone here on mylot.

Yes, you are correct, I had not been on for a few days and I got on here last night. I started a few discussions and responded to about 5 or 6 discussions. My star went from a 10 yesterday to an 8 today, oh well, not sure what happened but it will go back up eventually.

Yeah thanks. I only got to read it after I posted this discussion. I was just too angry to search if this has happened to anybody else. LOL. I thought somebody hates me. I sure hope they fix this.

i got hit too natalie,a lot of people did.
i have no idea what's going on,but nobody's a blue or red star right now.
at first i thought somebody was being vindicitive,but way too many people's rating have changed.

You don't think that someone has done this but mylot has made this happen accidentally or intentionally. My response was I thought that someone was being vindictive also. But as you say there are way to many stars numbers being changed. Thanks for mentioning this. It makes a whole lot more sense than someone else doing it.

It appears to be a globalthing that people lost at least one rank. I lost 2, and still cannot figure out what I have done, or the reason behind MyLot doing this to so many people.

Think everyone has just been knocked down at least one star rating in the past day. Myself, it was two. I started looking at my 'solid 10 star' friends and it seems every one is down.
I know that the word glitch is being tossed around a lot these days, and I hear that myLot really hates us using it, but come on...... there sure seems to be a lot lately.

Well, if they don't want to use the word glitch, what do they want to use? Would they rather that the people think they did it intentionally? But I'm glad that's all over.

Earlier when I saw these discussions about stars falling I didn't bother much. But just now I noticed that my star has gone from Yellow to White or 8 to 7. My popularity was 84 per cent but now it reads 74 per cent. I think 'mylot' would have done this in order to give us a challenge to score again. So we'll do it. No body's going to jail, so why worry.

Actually, it's more than a challenge when you have like a 1000 plus replies because I think the rating you need to get is proportionate to your replies and discussions.

Nat, by the looks of it, you have 10 stars now, I guess the stars are not that big deal but its your reputation. I hardly knew you coz Im still a newbie but I think everyone here quite know you at all. Your posts or response serves your degree that you contributed a lot here at mylot. Im building too myself now to be able to get in in this community, one thing i like here is the people are very professional and the thoughts are with sense. Interacting here is very elite and its like Im facing and meeting them personally. Dont worry everyone loves you here ;)

Thanks, that's so sweet. That's exactly how I feel about my star rating. Others don't understand why I got sad or pissed but like I said, my star rating represents my reputation and I've worked hard for that, it's just hard to see something you've worked hard for go down the drain.

I noticed this about quite a few of the members stars. My star was a ten and now it is a eight. I think someone is messing around with the members and I am very serious. There is not one or two numbers in stars that have changed but a whole lot. I was on last night and it happened before I got on mylot. I don't blame you for ranting I was proud of my ten star and now it is down to eight. There is something wrong here in mylot.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who got mad, others thought we were overreacting, but I think we all work hard for our ten stars that we got affected by the so-called "glitch"

Sorry you felt that way... i guess you are not the one who is experiencing it. Im also having the same problem. But for me as long as i enjoy and participate in discussion and even i lose stars.. as long as i contribute good and reasonable topics and replies... stars is nothing to me. ofcourse as long as i earn too. =) take care! goodluck!

I know some people would think I'm overreacting but my star rating means a lot to me because I've worked hard for that. It means that a lot of people appreciated my responses and discussions. It's like my reputation. With a 10 star, people would know that you give quality responses. I don't know, it's just hard to see something that you've worked hard for go down the drain.
