My mother in law is not the nicest person around. My niece (12) was talking to my daughter (7) and told her that she calls grandma the big OGRE. My daughter started laughing and said she looks like Shrek..LOL Now, all of us have her listed in our cell phones as Shrek. Even her own kids.

My mother-in-law is really nice so I don't have any horrible nicknames for her, I just call her mum or ma!

This is a good one. I sometimes call her some nicknames that wouldn't be too polite to put in here. I sure hope she isn't a mylot person. hee hee hee

Mine has passed on now, but she lived in Florida and we lived in Alaska. Big distance was nice. I never called her anything by "Mom" to her face (her choice) and "Your Mom" when referring to her in conversation with my husband.

That was nice of you... distance does make it so much easier. I do not get a long with my mother in law.. never will.. I choose not to talk to her because she is nice to my face and then tells lies behind my back
