Watched the 3rd installment of the series

Went to watch it yesterday during the opening premier. The show was good, in terms of graphics and jokes. Captain Jack Sparrow is forever the quirky fellow. This show's theme is a little messy to me though. I dun really understand this installment as compared to the other two. In part one, the quest was to reclaim the Black Pearl. In part two, the quest was to redeem the debt Sparrow owed to Darvy Jones. In part three, there was heck of a lot of fighting, scheming between pirates and the East India fleet... but what is the purpose? Anyone understand what the third show was all about? Enlighten me?
