.....give us this day, our daily bread, why is it that human beings want more than a daily bread.

I think we want more than the daily bread simply because we are human and have that nature within us. I don't think to many of us can be satisfied with the things God has given us unless we see how bad things can be. I appreciate the joys God has granted me with.

it is good to appreciate God for what you have and be content with it. it is greed that makes some people to indulge in stealing, contentment is good.

The Lords Prayer cannot be prayed too much. It is a model we all need to follow. It is what really is and really matters. "Daily bread" refers to the supply of right ideas that "our Father" gives us. It is up to us to put those God given ideas to work.

human beings want more than a daily bread because they don't have contentment. Needs are better than wants. necessity is better that wantings. For us to be contented, we should always seek the guidance of God through the Holy Spirit and pray through Jesus Christ name.

human beings want more than daily bread because they don't have contentment. you said for us to have contentment that we should seek the guidance of the holy spirit, do you know that most pastors and church priests and not contented? how do we reconcile this with your response.
