Unless you are reading this more then a half hour after I post this, maybe less if I find 2 interesting posts, I am 2 short of 500 responses. I know for many it is a milestone, and it is a bit exciting but what does it mean. Why does it mean so much to everyone to hit the 500 post milestone?

Congrats on your feat! :D I believe that now you can copy and paste, but I'm not exactly sure what else you can do. I understand that one can point over their mouse over their star to see a numeric rating (ranging from 1-100) but I still can't do that, so maybe it's another benefit of 500 posts! :)

I know that when the images are slow that I can see an xx/100. I just dropped from a 10 to a 9. but that is the difference between a 94/100 to a 95/100. That's my fault as I feel I probably deserved a - I may have gotten because of my big mouth, but I am not one to back down from my feelings. I enjoyed the month it took to get here and I'll be enjoying the site as I continue to post.

I can't say about this site ( I only have 11 posts) but I also post an a homebrewing forum and when I got close to 500 I looked for things to post to. That site rates you and I became a corney keg , sounds funny but I guess it is just a goal like so many other things in life.
