My Friend, the "User-Friendly Person"

User-friendliness is supposed to be about how something can be used easily by a consumer, as in a user-friendly program that is very easy to operate. But we'll not use the term here in this sense. I used to call some "friend" as "user-friendly" when they just tend to use your friendship just to gain favors - yep, it's another term for "fair-wheather friends" who will disappear at the first signs of trouble. I've known a lot of people like that - they just befriend me so i can make their projects for free. And it sickens me to know that people like these don't even have the conscience to deter them from taking advantage the kindness of a helpful person. Have you encountered people like that? What do you propose to do to these kinds of people, aside from putting their heads on a pike? ;)

Hi BrianKomeini, I dont have friends like that. We should avoid these type of "user friendly" friends. Friends should have the give and take attitude and not taker only. If I encountered these type of friendship, I will still be their friends but only be more careful when they start using their "user friendly" technique.

there are always people like that and sometimes they are so friendly that you really do not know until after it is too late, we call them players here. I try to stay away from them as much as I can.
