Some people always blame themselves for even the slightest mishap. Some always put the blame on others. Instead of pointing fingers either way - it is worthwhile to be proactive.

I am the type of person that takes responsability for what I do. I do not blame others for my short commings and do not take the blame for things I do not do. I do not talke behind peoples back but to their face. I think everyone should take responsability for their own actions. This would make the world a better place. I am sorry to say that most people find that life is so much easier if they blame others for everything.

This is true sukumar - I am forever blaming myself for things and apologising, even though no one else thinks it is my fault! I wish I could change and I am trying to do so! xxx

You are so right. Blame accomplishes nothing. Instead of blaming someone we should concentrate on fixing the problem. There is usually plenty of blame to go around anyway.

I completely agree. I mostly notice people who put the blame on others. It's very annoying. Often it is not even accurate. It is better to solve the problem, rather than focusing on blame.

Sometimes things happen and we cannot place the blame on anyone for instance during a natural disaster. Then I hear people blaming the government, etc. It is useless to blame others during natural disasters. If we make a mistake we have to forgive ourselves and not place the blame on ourselves or we will be walking around feeling guilty about everything.

I think instead of placing blame for the mishaps in life, people should learn from them in order to avoid them in the future, or at least not be quite so affected by them. That way life can move along a little more smoothly and enjoyably.

I think its okay to blame either oneself or somebody as long as a person doesn't do any harm to one's confidence. It would be better if a person learns something from it.

Ya its very common. I think both are losser the one who always blame himself for each and everthing he will feel dipressed always. the others who thinks blaming others is their right they too can't be happier as they will never realize there mistake and so never improve upon their lives. will you please elaborate the term proactive..thank you
