Do you think Crouch should be out of Liverpool?

Rumour mills are working overtime that Crouch and Bellamy are on their way out. Both Crouch and Benitez have though said that Crouch is staying back. What is your view on this? Do you think that Crouch does not fit in the playing 11 of Liverpool? What about Bellamy? Cheers! Ram

No I don't personnaly. I think he's our bests triker and if he started 32 games plus in the league he'd get 20 goals. His goals - games ratio for England is quality he's one of our best players. Keep Crouch for sure!

That's absolutely true. Benitez's rotation policy sometimes gets to your nerves. Surprisingly, Though this has worked wonders as far as Champions League is concerned, it has not yet borne fruit in the EPL. I would have thought it would have worked the other way around. Cheers! Ram

I agree completely - with enough games he could get 20 goals. Unfortunately, with Benitez at the helm it'll take one hell of a season for any lpool striker to get 20 league goals - most only start 25 games a season!!

I think if Pennant starts delivering more crosses regularly, then the hieght of Crouch would be a magnificient plus for Liverpool. Cheers! Ram

I dont think he should be thrown out.I dont have any reason for him to be thrown out of the team.He was in super form in the last season and has played well for his team.He is a young player too.He should be supported even if he is losing on in any circumstances.

I agree with you that he has a lot of years ahead of him and he can only get better from here on. Cheers! Ram

But, despite that last year at the start of the season he could not stop scoring both for England and Liverpool. During that phase he scored some of the most sensational goals, but still could not find a regular place in Liverpool side and then lost his touch. That is something which has puzzled me about Benitez. He played Crouch every single match when he was going through his lean drought and then when he started scoring, he kept dropping him!! Cheers! I think we'd be absolutly crazy to get rid of Crouchy, he offers us something different to any of our other strikers, lets get rid of bellamy because lets be fair he hasnt done a great deal and get another big name striker in! Cmon Reds!!

I agree with you in that Crouch does offer us the hieght advantage in the box and that counts a lot. Bellamy is one of those who have a lot of potential but tend to get carried away. I was hoping that Benitez might just reel in his talents and make him a better player... but that hasn't happened yet. Cheers! Ram

I certainly think that Crouch should be kept in Liverpool as he is a very prominent and rare striker that could be a threat to many teams just beacuse of his height. Certainly in the English Premiership he is an asset and definitely a trump card for Liverpool. He is considered a threat as there are not many defenders that could defend against him because of his height. Bellamy should definitely be sold.I don't think he has contributed significantly and is certainly replaceable. The only players who deserve to stay are ALONSO, GERRARD, RIISE, FINNAN, REINA, PENNANT,CARRAGHER ....

Alonso, Gerrard and Carragher have already signed on lucrative new contracts. I agree with Riise and Pennant as well. I think Reina is a great shot stopper, but otherwise ordinary. Finnan is hardworking, but can be replaced. Cheers! Ram

I think crouch will stay hes a good player not the most prolific but his contribution to the team is immense which benitiz realises, hes also happy to play any role / come on as sub and shows a real commitment to the club, which again is something benitiz demands. As for bellamy i think he might well go he hasn't really added anything to the team this year and always looks likely to go off the rails again.

What is surprising is the fact that Crouch does not seem to stop scoring for England. Everytime he dons an English shirt he scores like he did last week. Cheers! Ram

No way should we ship him out. He has constantly been doubted and questioned but i'd say he's had a good season. He answered most of his critics, scored most goals out of all our strikers and proved he can play in the big games. He's not world class ofc but he is a good player and deserves his place in the squad, he brings a different dimension to the team and how many other teams have a guy of his stature? You don't just win games with 1 type of player throughout the team. You need a variety of skills and strengths and Crouchy has plenty to offer.

I agree that the frontline of Liverpool offers more variety collectively than any other club in the top four, yet we are nowhere near Man U and Chelsea. I guess Benitez's rotation policy would have to take some of the blame for it. Cheers! Ram
