I need to give up on lost!!

May 29, 2007 7:10pm CST
The show is NEVER going to end!! It's gone too far, too many nonsensical twists and turns and nothing ever gets answered fully. The writers would have to come up with something seriously amazing to make it worth watching so much nothingness! Also, you'll notice this too if you havn't already. Every scene ends with that disonant dramatic music and the character will have that "look" on their face, every single scene!! A look of shock/anger/fear etc... The other person in the scene could have said nothing more than "fancy a cup of tea?" and that look would still be there with that same music. So now I can't watch it anymore because I keep noticing that! I'm going to have to give it up and accept that I'll never know what happens... If anything ACTUALLY happens EVER!

Sue. How very dare you. Lost is the best thing to ever happen to television. They've set an ending date for 2010, so theres plenty more action to be had! *spanks you for thinking ill of the best TV show ever* If you were still in Soton with me and Dave and Lee you could join in our hour long discussions on the significance of every minute detail. Do you actually not like it? Really? Honestly? Crazy woman. xxxxxxxxxxxxxx p.s. miss you :D

I had a real hard time with it the first season, then I really got involved the 2nd. I've never been in to shows that have unbelievable stories, but for some reason I got hooked on this one. We always feel "lost" at the end of every show, I figured that's why they named it that. It keeps me in suspense though. Sometimes a little ignorant, sometimes a little silly, but I really like characters, they do good.

There's only so much I can take! Like I said, In Soton actually I became addicted to it, but then I had nothing better to do, what was I gonna do? Go to lessons!! PAH! After 3 seasons of crazy, jibberish, nonsensical non-storylines I think it's reached the end for me. Hehe. Given it was good to begin with, and Sawyer is a hunk if ever I did see one... But thats not enough reason for me to continue watching. PS. Miss you too!!

i have only seen LOST's firs season. and i say, i love it. i had a glimpse on some of it's episodes on season 2, too. my boyfriend loves it. so, i might take a look on all seasons, too. there really are times when writers can't think about anything anymore... to the point that they obviously just try to make up some more scenes just to make the show longer. but i will still try and watch lost's other seasons and judge it myself. happy myLotting!

I understand your frustration and I feel the same way. Instead of giving us answers they just create more questions. It drives me crazy but at least they stopped with the stupid reruns.

I know what you mean, I almost stopped watching for the same reasons. Instead of answering questions, they just create new ones. Or for every question answered another one appears. But everyone is saying that 2010 is the end date so I think it should be interesting from now on, at least I hope so.

haha...I sooo get what you mean.... Well season 2 just ended here in Singapore...is there another season? I somehow always feel lost when watching it. Apt name I should say

Yeah, in the US they've just finished season 3. I've given up half way through, hehe! i'm glad you see what I mean! I'm not alone!!! I did get addicted to it at first, but after 2 and a half seasons of questions not being answered and mysterious clouds of smoke coming to kill people I just don't think I can watch it anymore.

i disagree here. that is why the show is so good, because it is different every week. there is no sappy stuff and no love triangles. that is why i like it. it keeps you guessing. why would you want to watch a show when you know what is going to happen week after week.

I agree that it seems like it not going to end but you have to look at the name of the picture "Lost" how can you have a picture called lost and the people be back home safe and sound? If you want to know what will happen all you have to do is visit the home page. and look at the episodes.

join the club. i quit Lost when I realise is another soap opera targeted at a different set of audience. instead of those love-betray soap opera, this one include mysteries that DRAGS ON WAY TOO LONG episode after episode. i'd rather be posting on MyLot

I just finished watching season 2 and almost a quarter to season 3 and I got to say questions just keeps on coming. The good thing for me atleast is I enjoyed watching each episode. I read in another forum it was scheduled to end by 2010 (:0) with 6 seasons. With the writer's and producer's bold announcement a specific schedule on when the series would end we could atleast know that there is a definite story they are working on. For me it's much better compared to other series where the writers and producers tend to shorten or lengthen a certain series depending on the shows popularity. The problem is probably 2010 is too far away. Well all good things comes to those who wait. :)

The show is scheduled to end in 2010. As the years go by, we will get answers to questions. I find the show to be quite intriguing and so very different than other shows that are on. I hope you will not give up on the show.

Well with the end date set for three more seasons, you know you will get the answers soon. I do know what you mean about the face look and the music. That's how I always know a commercial is coming up. But you can't give up! there is so much more fun to be had.

This is basically why I gave up on it after the first season. It didn't make much sense. I mean seriously, how long can one be lost? It got to the point where even I started going crazy. Not really a good show.
