imitation: flattering or annoying?

hi guys. now this is something really debatable because some would say that imitation is the best for of flattery while some would say that imitation is ripping one person of his or her individuality and originality. now, honestly, i would have to say that imitation annoys me. i mean not in all ways, but in the case when someone imitates me - the way i dress, the way i style my hair, the way i laugh, my facial expressions, my bags, and outfits. you see, i have this friend of mine who seems to really admire me so much and she keeps on buying whatever i buy, she keeps on asking me about every detail of my life and before i know it, she is already copying me! i am really getting annoyed already because i want to have my originality and now it seems that she's ripping it off from me. what can you advice me on this?
