Drag Racing: Is it safe or is it really dangerous?

It all depends on how much a good driver you are and how much you want to spend on the car. I dont know exactly what sort of drag racing you are talking about, but I used to do it here in Australia. We have organised legal street meets at the Drag Stripe. It can be quite dangerous but the adrenalin is something else the high you get from it is just unreal (especially when you beat the guys....lol.). There are a lot of things that can go wrong, like in any sport, but there are safety measures that have to be taken out. Do it if you want to, but try and get as much information as possible , talk to other drivers etc.... Good Luck with it.
