Do you believe that someone who cried rape everytime you turn around should be charged for their lives ? Being accused of such a malicious lie would ruin a person's life and the lives of there family , do you believe that when the person is found to be innocent without a shadow of a doubt that the person who cried rape should be charged for their outlandish lies ?

Yes anyone who reports a rape and goes through the motions of getting their assailent arrested and later recant it for a lie should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I am not saying that there are not woman out there that will be so scared that they will just not want to press charges. I am talking about a woman who says he raped me and come to find out that it was her boyfriend and he cheated on her and she wanted revenge. This person lied about a crime which there is a law against people filing false police reports as well as a law against lieing underoath. Not to mention that the person who cries rape is ruining the other persons life. Just because the charges of rape is droped people will still remember that they were acused.

I believe that it all depends on the situation. If this woman truly believes that she was raped, then she can not be charged with lying. Let's say that a couple is doing their thing and all of a sudden the girls says no, but the guy doesn't take her seriously. Every thing that he does to her from that point on is rape. Not only that, every action is a different crime, from what I was told in California. But now, if this guy never touched her at all and she cries rape and is found to be lying and is lucid, then yes, she should be charged. When it is consentual and then later on she cries rape, that is very hard to prove. Date rape has always been hard to prove. But again, if she has lied and ruin someones life and is in her right mind, she should be charged. Mentally ill people say a lot of things that are not true, but because they are sometimes delusional, they honestly believe that these lies that they are telling are true. It would be cruel to punish them.

Anyone who falsely accuses another person of something that they didn't do should not only be charged but also prosecuted. No one should be allowed to ruin someone elses lives because they decided to tell a lie. If the person cries rape and later found out to be lieing they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. And the person who was faslely accused should be able to sue the person who falsely accused them and ruined their reputation.

Yes I think they should. If there actually were no rape. I also think they should have to pay restitution for court costs etc. Many people that do this are after money. And settle out of court etc. especially if it involves someone famous. THey should be held accountable for their actions.

Yes, I think they should. I have seen this happen too many times. Mostly individuals who are cleared from charges are just relieved that it is finally over but I think they could sue for slander and maybe get something for false accusations. But that would be like a slap on the wrist. The damage is already done.

Yes, I do. There's way too much of that happening. Let it be real or be held accountable! Rape is a horrible thing to endure. I can't imagine what it would do to someone falsely accused of it.

yes i do think they should be charged, named and even do time in prison. Such a malicious lie ruins lives and prevents real rape victims getting justice blessed be
