Oh really, if saltwater can be turned into fuel, it will be great! There are currently plenty of seawater, right? Seawater contains salt. So, we will be able to use seawater. But after using seawater, can it be recycled? Otherwise, seawater can also be scarce. It is like gasoline. However, it will still need many years before becoming scarce.

Sorry to burst your bubble - anyone can turn water into fuel. It's called electrolysis, pass an electric current through water and you get hydrogen and oxygen which can then be burnt as a fuel. Unfortunately there is a catch - where do you think the electric comes from? Energy cannot be created, it can only be changed from one form to another. As for the cure for cancer - well they already use radio waves to treat cancer - its called radio therapy, my Father and Mother both had this treatment for their cancers. Unfortunately there is no cure that works for all cancers, I think if this guy had really managed to cure cancer we would know about it. In fact if you read the article it actually says he was "looking for a cure", not that he found one.

I like the idea of using salt water to fuel my car but I have my doubts that it will ever happen. I have heard of something simuliar being around before and the oil companies buying the patten and then sitting on it becuse it would put them out of business.

Wow! I sure do hope for it to work. It would be a day of celebration for all of us not to be dependent on so much oil anymore.

Definitely cool! Now if we can just keep the big oil companies from buying the rights to it then we might be OK.
