Do you think Rock and Roll is indeed dead?

Maybe I am just getting old, but it seems after High school, eons ago, music just died.

I dont know about that. I still listen to the same music that I listened to 25 years ago and I still think its great. I really dont care for the newer stuff. I listen to classic rock and it will never die. Take care, Terry

I personally don't think so. It's like everything else, it evolves and changes with the times. I sing in a rock band and though we tend to do a lot of classic rock and blues from the 70's and 80's, which has made a comeback in the last few years, we also do some newer rock too and I really enjoy it. There's a lot of good music out there. I think every genre goes thru stagnant, cookie cutter periods until someone comes along with something different to give it a kick in the pants. You just have to be open to it, then if you don't like it go back to the same ol' same ol' until something else comes along and give that a try.

There are still bands putting out Rock & Roll. Some of them are still going from the 60s and 70s... but there are newer rockers going to. As long as there are folks plugging in, there will be rock!!
