Happy children's day...In India we celebrate children's day on 14th of nov...its really the day wen i wish i wud not have grown up n be that ignorant kid who was free of all burdens of life...

Beside saying Happy Children’s Day I do sincerely hope that many of those children who are suffering from poverty, wars, natural disasters, aids, famines etc to get the helping hands with loves and sympathies from people all over the world.

I didn't know that. That will be something to tell my little sister who's birthday is today she is 6 years old today. Now we will have a holiday to link up with her birthday she will like that. Well, Happy Children's day back to you Since your a kid at heart like me I might be 32 but sometimes I feel like I am a kid. Thats what keeps me young..lol atleast on the inside. So what do they do for the children on this special day for them? I would seriously like to know. Maybe we can incorporate it into my sisters day!..Thanks.

That is something nice to do for the children. June 1st was the last day of school for the children where I live and they don't have to go back till August. Do the children in China get off for the summer? I told my sister about the sisters day being on her birthday and she loved that idea! I even got her a special sister gift to help in celebrating it. Thanks.

That's nice. We don't have a children's day here. Perhaps you could tell My Lotters how Children's Day is celebrated? It is a very custom to have.

hehe. the children will receive a gift such as candy, or the other things but it depends on the performance in children's day.the shcool will make a lot of games to children play and do performance.the best performance will receive best gift.hehe.the children also are off class today and enjoy playing at school.

most of us today, 1st June, celebrate the international children's day. this day is solely dedicated for our children. it's time to treat them and have fun with them in a very special way unlike in other usual days.
i remember a portion of the song by whitney houston 'the greatest love of all' which goes like this:
'I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be'

Hi, laiyongjun.
Thank you for your best wishes to all the children around the world.
Like one mylotter said, as we known, there are still lots of children suffering from poverties, wars, aids, natural disasters, famines etc in the whole world.
When we celebrate Children's Day today, let's say Happy Children's Day to them at the same time.
What's more, I think no matter how old we are now, we were kids in the past and we should cherish the memories of perfect childhood days.
I wanna say Happy Children's Day to every one all over the world and treasure our happy childhood days.

Well I must admit that I have neber heard of Children's Day, but it is a wonderful idea. We have Mother's Day and Father's Day plus many other things but not a Children's Day here in Australia.
I wish all the children, wherever they are in the world, a wonderful Children's Day. I hope that by the time it is Children's Day next year, the world will have found a way to feed the poor children who are always hungry. Now that would be the best day that could ever happen for all the children.
