What is great in your life right now?

I think what is right in my life is what it has the potential to be. So it's basically about hope and optimism. Things that I aspire may not actually come true but as of this moment, there's always that chance that it will and I'm gonna bank on that and wallow in its goodness. I guess it's always easier to look at the bad side of things. So once in a while, we've just gotta think and be positive! Thanks for this thread!

I was probably one of the "queens" of posting discussions about what was wrong in my life during the month of May since I had my SSI Disability fiasco where my benefits were cut...ah, but now with the month of June things are turning for the better as I'm to be reinstated with my benefits and the so-called over payment of $4,910.00 that I had to pay them back was completely waivered and I don't have to pay a thing to them....So...this is truly a great thing in my life now!! Yipeeeeeee!!!

Hi Nancy, We're having our share of challenges, but one BIG thing I can equivocally say is good is that many significant endeavors that had stalled are now moving in positive directions. My stepson (that sounds so weird; we don't use "stepfamily" language, it's just "Sara" and "Calum") has a learning disability - we had figured this out on our own, but we finally found someone who could, with the appropriate tests, tell us what it is. Now we have more directed strategies to help him, rather than shooting in the dark. :) Same boy also had a birthday this weekend and we had lots of fun celebrating that - I got to make him a treasure chest cake for his pirate-themed party. Also, I'm in the process of immigrating to Canada (from the US) and we recently received a letter indicating that the process is moving along. I finished dinner menus for the better part of this month. :) No more contemplating at 5:00 what's for dinner and rushing to get it done. They're not written in stone, but they give someplace to work from, and some motivation to cook on the occaissional days I'm lacking it. I tried homemade fruit leather for the first time last week - done in the oven. I make toated oat cereal for us, and most of our bread, but this was a new adventure! Just have to leave them in a little shorter next time - but the flavor is so much nicer than "fruit roll-ups" and no preservatives! I'm looking forward to trying my hand at making some melted bead bowls; try a search on www.craftster.org to see what Im talking about. Oh - and the house is mostly clean! Got it pretty well tidy last week and have managed to keep it that way for a week. :) What about you? :) ~Sara

My life at this moment is ok. My baby boy is speeking the first words, is going to have the first step by himself, his wealth is ok too so I'm glad about him. My work is ok too. I've a lot of things to do and I'm so busy but this is my work and it must be done from me. My husbend love me so much what should I ask more from my life?
