Is wrestling a sport or just a violence-show?

Whether it is a sport why it is not an Olimpic specialty?
If it is not a sport you consider it like a circus exhibition?
Why it attracts the fantasy of boys and adolescents?
It is just a violent pantomime for exalted people or it has a technical content?

Wrestling is an artform. Its a Spectacular sport, and it's performed by Artists. Each bout is carefully planned before the show, each Hold practised, until its Perfect. Yes, its like a circus exibition, but its also a sport, because it entails Strength, and Stamina. Although I seldom watch Wrestling, I have nothing but admiration for the wrestlers!
They are wonderful actors!
Thanks for your query.

Now there is wrestling and there iss WWE Wrestling. The first is an olympic sport. It has rules and is a real competition. But WWE Wrestling is one part side show, another part soap opera, and one partreality show.It is pure entertainment.I guess guys like the action. I liked it because of the storylines.I watched it like I would watch it like my soaps. I picked a character and got to know all his friends and enemies, and I got hooked. Who will meet in the ring next? Will he tag team with this wrestler or this one?

It is like a circus exhibition. As long as people are willing to pay money to watch these guys act then there will be wrestling. I think people like to watch competition. Actually, wrestling reminds me of gladiators. Where a fight was staged and most people could tell who was going to win.

I don't like at all this show, 'cause for me it's a show of violence.
I don't like watching people fighting with each other.
