I have gone without a cell phone for almost 76 years. I did buy one about 2 years ago and it cost me $1000.00 to keep it for 6 months (by the time I bought my way out of the contract) Since then I have made do with a computer using Skype, and a landline. I have a good digital camera, and I use my computer for business as well as pleasure. Who needs a cellphone?

My mom said nothing about watching over me, or keeping me safe. It seemed to me she was busy with her new life and was not concerned (in the least) with me, or anyone else on earth.
