Almost all of us have our own personal computers, and most of these have a net connection to it. But imagine you didnt have a net connection. Would that make your computer less usefull than what is it right now. How much value does the accessibility to net add to a personal computer? Fire in your replies!!

I started to own a computer without internet connection. It was very boring because you need a lot of installers just to get the new game or application. And after you are finished with playing or doing homeworks, you are left nothing to do with your computer. Unlike if you have a internet connection, you can browse different sites, watch videos, and play online games. It is quite boring to have a computer without internet connection. It is like being alive but doesn't have any friends with you.

the need for an internet connection really depends on the reason for having a computer. if we do not limit its use for home use, then there will definitely be a need for an internet connection. most of us prefers to have an internet connection, especially hte young ones, because the computer can very easily serve multiples of purposes that way.

I used to have a computer without internet connections and life was pretty boring. It is just an appliance in my home. I used it for homework, play games. That's it. Plain boring. Then I had an internet connection I felt that my computer is used on how it should be used. I can check emails, contact those people that I have lost contacts to and besides I don't have to rent computer from computer cafes just to research something and save it then copy the file to my computer just to find out that the computer I used in cafes has a virus.

Yes it would be less usefull, but at least it is away from harmfull viruses, and spyware.

actually virus can come from other sources as well, but it will be minimised to a great extent.

It will be a different thing entirely having a computer without internet, considering the fact that one is used to the net. Thanks

It depends on what you use your computer for. If you use it for work, or for filesharing/downloading, then most likely it isn't as useful without an internet connection, especially nowadays when businesses can be conducted online. But if it's a gaming PC then you probably wouldn't need the internet as much.

Ya! You are very true! Once you know what to do with your computer, you'll know whether you need a net conxn or not!
