Today is a very warm and windy day. We are going to have a storm later tonight, so I decided to take my dog for a walk. As we were walking I found a $20 dollar bill blowing around. Yes $20 dollars. I didn't know it was 20 dollars at first, but I knew it was money of some kind. I chased it a little and when I caught it, I was so happy to find out that it was 20 dollars. By the way nobody else was around. What is the largest amount of money that you found?

I found a two dollar bill under my tire once. I have no clue how it got there. I backed up and picked it up. No one was around to claim it, and I wasn't going to go in the mall for them to do a PA announcement. So I just put it Make a Wish Foundation Box that was in one of the stores.

Hi OURDEW Congrats on finding the 20 dollar bill, what a find! The most I have ever found was a 10 dollar bill. It was on a walking path and none else was around.

Hello, orudew, good on you,it is like winning the lottery to pick up the 20 bucks note, you are really lucky because the 20 bucks should have been picked up by someone else since it is quite a large amount:P
I have not had any experience like that before, sometimes i may see some 5 cents coins on the ground but i will not pick them up since they are very dirty and it is not useful to have 5 more cents in my pocket.

Cool i guess everybody have been finding something small or big ,i haven't found any dollar yet nor even a cent perhaps its because no dollars or cents used back in here :P instead i have found some local currency in here and thats just twice once 500 and other time it was like 45 in total not much more than 9-10 dollars!

I found $5 bill once long time ago, but I collect all of my good luck 1 cents in separate jar...and it is way over $50 so far....because most people do not take 1 cent if found...:)

Wow, that's quite an amount! :) I remember when I was in college, I left my money in the house and I was already on my way to school riding a jeepney (a local public transport in my country). I only had loose change then so I was really worried of not being able to get myself home. And there it was, tucked in the seat where I sat, a 50 peso bill (or $1)waiting to be picked. I was the only passenger there so I took it. It must have been dropped by an angel somewhere because I really needed it that time. But the biggest amount that I got was 3,500 pesos or around $60. It was a couple of money folded together. I was really happy when I stumbled upon it on the road and nobody claimed. =D

Oh how nice good for you. I hope you made a wish when you found it. I have found change never bills. I have so far found two wallets, one inside a bank which I returned to bank staff, and one I noticed on the road when my husband was driving. I asked to stop the truck and I picked up the wallet opened it and got the name of the owner. We then went to A&W which was right close and I used the pay phone, called the fellow then I returned the wallet to him as he had no vehicle. So far that's it for me.

I once found 3 one hundred dollar bills. I was allowed to keep it after turning it in to the police.Noone came to claim the money so it became mine after I think it was 30 days.I'll start a discussion about it because it was kind of funny.
Hugs

The largest amount of money I have ever found was a £10 (U.K) floating around in a pool of water. I took it home and put it over a radiator to dry out.
When I was very young (I'm talking here about the 1955), I found an old ten shilling note floating down a stream - that was worth about $1.5 dollars in those days and would buy a fair amount for a kid. I always seem to find it in water though LOL

Lucky ducky! What a coup!
I've never found money outdoors, but often I've had things practically handed to me for no cost.
Once my husband was shopping in a grocery store, and came back to his car, where he found that someone had left a shopping cart next to his car. Inside the cart, was a bag of brand new baby clothes and a brand new pair of boots.
At the time I didn't have boots, or the money to buy them. And, considering that it was 20 degrees outside at the time, we decided to treat it like a gift from God.
Sometimes help comes in all forms. Often times it's just the universe's way of paying it forward. Instant Carma in action.
Be well and keep thinking happy thoughts!

Gee--aren't you glad you decided to take your dog out for a walk when you did? Hmmm..maybe you should buy some extra treats for your doggie...hehhe--the largest I ever found was a five dollar bill...and it couldn't have come at a better time as I was literally flat broke at the time
