Hi I think there was a major difference between the two eras. I agree with you that I like the WWF era way better. I think it goes way too over the top now. It used to really focus on the wrestling, now it is all about entertainment. my two cents. cheers,

Hi shyamlal!! I had not seen much WWE..But i watched WWF and felt it was good.. And i guess federation is better than entertainment as by the name..

yeah the name itself shows it.One showed good wrestling and the second one is trying to do comedies

I'm not sure of when it officially changed, but I prefer the WWF. Every since WWF bought WCW, things have have never been the same, in my opinion. My favorite days were when Bret Hart was on top.

during wwf era we got to see a lot of good matches.And the tittles went to the ones who deserved it.But now people like john cena who just got mic skills are made champs.The matches looked much more real those days

i prefer the wwf era more mainly because during the time it changed to wwe i started to lose interest in wrestling

Big time WWF attitude era. WWF used to be wrestling and attitude and now it is drama, storylines, and a little wrestling. The older WWF days were good but I loved the early to late 90's possibly because I worked for WCW at the time and it was great fun competing. I was always a bigger WWF fan so I just watched both shows, edited WCW Magazine, enjoyed the NWO and luchadors, and watched WWF on tape when I got off the road. Heck, the guys in the back watched Raw during Nitro! I also loved the competition because it made for much better wrestling and storylines in general.
